Cougers on the wasatch

Sunday July 17 I had a new experience that will stick with me for a very long time. I was up scouting for deer on the Wasatch Front when I came across a cougar chasing some small bucks. I was able to get 200 yards away from the cougar which had no idea that I was even there. The whole experience lasted about 5 min. I have spent a lot of time in the woods in my life, but never have I had the opportunity to see a cougar so up close in the wild. It is something that many people will never get to experience in their lifetime.
